This year’s vacations were long overdue…
Instead of choosing a random ship to one of the hundreds beautiful islands that Greece has, we decided to go for a road trip… we had to choose between 4 directions: north, south, east, west…. south won! and Peloponnese was our destination… no predefined route, no reservations…. a car full of gas and positive energy was all we needed!
Patras, Ancient Olympia, Kyparissia, Gialova, Pylos, Methoni, Koroni, Kalamata, Kardamyli, Itylo, Aeropoli, Gerolimenas, Gutheio, Sparti… are only some of the few stops we made…
My head is full of images of sandy beaches, canyons, forests, smooth rivers, naked mountains, pointy rocks… such diversity in only a few squared kilometres… Mani stole my heart… rocky beauty and crystal waters… I was told that in the winter the landscape is completely changed… I cannot wait to revisit!
